The Ministry of IDPs from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia has approved, through Resolution N46 dated February 27, 2024, a component for vocational training and qualification aimed at enhancing the skills of job seekers in high-demand labor professions. This initiative will facilitate vocational training and further internships in the workplace, thereby improving job seekers' competitiveness and promoting their employment.
Any legal entity can register as a provider of vocational training programs, provided they meet the criteria outlined in the Resolution and the conditions set forth in Resolution No. 131 dated March 15, 2019. These entities must have the right to conduct vocational training programs, which will result in job seekers receiving a state-recognized certificate upon successful completion.
The LEPL State Agency for Employment Promotion of IDPs from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of Georgia has approved a list of in-demand professions that will be addressed by this vocational training component (see Annex N1).
Individuals or entities wishing to participate in the program must ensure they have the right to conduct vocational training programs as specified in Resolution No. 131 of the Government of Georgia, dated March 15, 2019 (see Annex N4 for the list of required documents, and Annexes N5.1 and N5.2 for additional information). Applications should be submitted to the State Agency for Employment Promotion in the occupied territories of Georgia.
