Within the scope of the National Center for Education Quality Enhancement’s “Professional Qualifications Development and Support Program”, an informative seminar was held regarding the “Sector Committee Members’ opportunities to strengthen their role and functions, dicussing and evaluations the issues of professional qualification and updating the methodology.” The Seminar is organized according to the 2016 Action plan in accordance with the Professional Education Reform Strategy 2013-2020.  

The seminar aims for the Committee members to get acquainted with the vocational program structure, the methodology and general standards. Moreover, the participants are introduced to the Association Agreement with the EU, and the vocational education framework it entails. In addition, the seminar dicussed the obligations nad recommendations issued by the European Union.

Besides the sector committee members the seminar was attended by the representatives of the Trade Union, Employers Association, Worker’s Union and donor officials, who spoke about the enralged role of the sector committe in the vocational education. In addition, the parties talked about the future prospects and the development strategy.

The information received during the seminar will significantly contricute to the successful fucntion of the sector communities.
