For those wishing to participate in the Vocational Education, have a chance to register for the duration of the next two days, and get a free, state-funded vocational education, and choose from more than 150 vocational programs. The registration process began on October 3, and will continue through the weekend, and end on October 16, 2016. The registration process is available in resource and information centers, requiring only an ID card. There are 50 new modular programs available at the state vocational schools, which are in compliance with the international standards and have been developed with the employers’ involvement. Moreover, for the first time, the introduction of the following programs has been announced: cattle-breeding, fruit-farming and wine-making. Moreover, the potential employer will be involved in the learning and the selection process.
As per the SEN students, an alternative enrollment procedures are available. For the non-Georgian speaking residents of Georgia, there are vocational tests available in Armenian, Azerbaijani and Russian languages, after which, they will be able to learn Georgian and continue their vocational studies.
The age and the choice is not limited.
Registration ends on Sunday.
According to the results of the vocational testing, the vocational education is free of charge.
