Within the scope of a small grant project funded by the Millennium Challenge Account– “Vocational education for the economic development”, the Employers Association of Georgia held a presentation regarding the project results. The presentation was attended by the first Deputy Minister of Education and Science – Ketevan Natriashvili, the representatives of the Millennium Challenge Account, and other invited guests.
The main project objective, was to increase the level of the labor market, in terms of preparing a professional and technical labor force, which appears to be the main challenge of the labor market as of today. As a result of activities carried out by the Georgian Employers Association, a work-based learning principle was implemented, and many young people were capable of getting employed based on the education received. Additionally, the aim of the meeting is to share the results with the members of the Association, in order to increase their involvement in such activities in near future.
