In order to assess the newly implemented entrepreneurship module, the first deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia – Ketevan Natriashvili, held a meeting with the representatives of Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, International School of Economy (ISET) and the donor organizations.

The development of self-employment and the entrepreneurship skills is one of the leading components for the individuals involved in the vocational education system. Consequently, a new module was designed, by the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, which involved an active participation of employers, international organizations and many more.

The implementation of the new Entrepreneurship module has started since 2015 and it is mandatory for every vocational education student. Thus, it was of paramount significance for the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia to assess the newly implemented initiative, in conjunction with hearing recommendations. Furthermore, the newly implemented module was assessed positively by the researchers. In order to improve the results, it has been outlined to base the education process more on practical activities, as well as using simulation teaching mechanisms and increasing the competence of the individuals who are involved in the teaching of entrepreneurship.

Ketevan Natriashvili initiated an entrepreneurial platform to implement the identified recommendations. Also, the involvement of relevant agencies in order to improve the practical component of the education was outlined as one of the key issues.
