The first deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia – Ketevan Natriashvili, has summarized the results achieved in vocational education for the year of 2016, in collaboration with the representatives of the European Union, during the "Employment, Vocational Education and Training Coordinating Council" session.

The council discussed the scope of events planned by the Technical Assistance project, and the activities as defined by the policy matrix in 2016. In addition, the results were presented, which is funded by the European Union.

The council was created within the scope of the financial agreement signed between the Government of Georgia and the European Union – “Employment and the vocational education”. The project is supported by the European Union and is being implemented jointly by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, together with the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Affairs.

The council aims at coordinating and monitoring all the terms and regulations, which was established between the government of Georgia and the European Union.
