A Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of vocational education was signed by and between the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, company “Rustavi Steel” and Rustavi vocational college “Modus”.

The Memorandum of Cooperation implies close cooperation with private company “Rustavi Steel”, the students will be retrained in the required professions, provided with scholarship, production practices, and successful students will be further employed in the company. The company’s representatives will also be involved in the process of creation and improvement of the training programs.

Successful cooperation of the Ministry of Education and Science with the private sector and consideration of the needs of the labor market encourages many private sector representatives to actively engage in development of vocational education and, therefore, to provide their companies with qualified staff. That approach is necessary for development of the country’s economy.
