At the joint meeting, the representatives of the Ministry got acquainted with the opinion of the business sector to maximize the needs and requirements of the private sector in vocational education.
Consideration of the draft law in such a manner is unprecedented and very important, as it is of high interest of the business sector, public structures and institutions, since the demand for students with vocational education qualifications is highly increased. Consequently, all stakeholders agree that the result-oriented approach should only be developed without close communication and discussion.
New law, preparation of which started in 2014, aims to improve the quality of vocational education system; establishment of flexible connections between general, vocational and higher education; formation of credit accumulation and transfer system; creation of training and retraining systems; establishment of legal basis for implementation of joint programs by companies and colleges.
