The company “Georgian Water and Power” has created a training center through close cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, which has no an analogue throughout the region. Today, together with the company representatives, Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, the Minister of Education and Science Aleksandre Jejelava and Mayor of Tbilisi Davit Narmania opened the centre.
Together with the Ministry, the centre will train up to 60 field engineers and more than 400 employees of the company, introduce modern teaching methodology and implement effective teaching programs within the field competences on annual basis.
The training center is equipped with modern simulation spaces, training stands, laboratories and necessary technical means, has the potential to form as the unopposed education base for development of the field, where participants will be able to improve their theoretical knowledge and acquire practical skills.
Programs and training modules of the training centers are based on the best local and international training practices. Based on them, the specialists will be trained by both field experts represented by the company, as well as the specialists invited in the centre.
