Within the framework of the project “Vocational Education for Economic Development”, the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) and Public College “Spectrum” held a business conference in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
The aim of the conference was to provide information about process of implementation of current and new vocational programs in the direction of “electrician”, “welder”, “air-conditioning system specialists” and “drainage system specialist” to the business sector, to discuss their engagement capabilities and to share the experience of the college. At the end of the conference the memorandum was signed by and between the construction company “Anaga” and the vocational college “Spectrum”, according to which the vocational college students will be able to practice in the enterprise and to facilitate further employment.
The event was attended by the representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development, Millennium Challenge Corporation, Millennium Challenge Account - Georgia, business sector and international partner of the project “Pearson”.
