By organization of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and with support of EU Project “Technical Assistance to VET and Employment Reforms” an information seminar of social partners was held. The aim of the meeting was to strengthen possibilities of social partners in the process of elaboration and implementation of vocational education policy.
At the information seminar, the EU technical support experts and the representatives of the Vocational Education Development Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia made presentations on the role of social partners in the development of the sphere and the ongoing innovations in the system.
This information seminar is held twice a year and is held out of turn of regular meeting of the National Council. The holding of seminars is supported by the EU Project “Technical Assistance to VET and Employment Reforms” during the last two years. The first seminar was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Ketevan Natriashvili, members of the National Professional Council of Vocational Education, international and local experts and international donor organizations.
