International Education Conference "Internationalization of Higher Education and International Rating Systems" is being held in order to maximally engage foreign citizens in Georgian educational space. The conference is being held within the framework of the program "Learn in Georgia" of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and promotes institutional development of Georgian higher education institutions and increasing awareness of Georgia on international arena.

International ratings are the highest and most important indicators of quality and research of education in higher education institutions, therefore, the appearance of Georgian universities in international ratings and improvement of positions is important for increasing educational potential and awareness of Georgia. That's why leading international rating companies like Times Higher Education - World University Rankings, U-Multirank that will share with the Georgian Universities their methodology of achieving success and will provide recommendations in order to raise awareness of Georgian universities, take part in the conference.

The conference was attended by the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Teimuraz Murghulia and Head of the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement Tamar Sanikidze together with high educational institutions and invited guests.
