The Ministry of Defense of Georgia, together with the
Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, launches a large project -
"Our Army". Within the project framework, Georgian Armed Forces, will
read the introductory lectures on the following subjects: Georgian military
history, overall goals and objectives, the platform of the mandatory and
contractual military service, the NATO-Georgian relations , international
missions and the Georgian participation in the international trainings and
exercises. The aim of the project a. is to raise awareness amongst the youth
and deepen the patriotic spirit. The project commences on the April 10, 2018
and will gradually cover the entire regions of Georgia.
The project "Our Army" was presented by the
Defense Minister - Levan Izoria and Deputy Minister of Education and Science -
Lia Gigauri at Tbilisi Public School # 175, where the students had the
opportunity to learn about the project and understand the importance of
implementing such projects.
