The National Center for Teacher Professional Development, with the support of the German International Cooperation Organization (GIZ) and the Senor Expert Service (SES), commenced the retraining procedure for the teachers of vocational education institutions. Leading German specialists in the field will train more than 100 teachers across Georgia.
Vocational education teachers will get acquainted with the latest technologies, teaching methods and learning resources used for studying specifications of construction. Conducting quality lessons is the main component and the idea behind the training.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia actively cooperates with the German International Cooperation Society (GIZ) in improving the quality of vocational education in Georgia. The National Center for Teacher Professional Development has been coordinating trainings for vocational education teachers held by German experts for two years. Trainings for vocational education teachers will continue throughout the year. By the end of May 2018, training of tourism teachers will begin.
Within the framework of the project, it is also planned to promote local and German vocational education institutions in order to promote the creation of various exchange programs.
