Project of Entrepreneurship learning in Vocational Education is being started by the US Embassy in Georgia.
Within the framework of the University of California University (UC Davis) and within the framework of the European EntreComp Competence Framework, a special module for entrepreneurship is planned. Retraining teachers and management entrepreneurship teachers of vocational institutions will be based on the module developed. It is also important to note that the private sector will be involved in the teaching process. Piloting of the project will be done in three vocational schools.
"The most important element of this project is to remember that entrepreneurship is a guarantee of a strong and stable economy. I am very glad that this project will be fulfilled, and I am looking forward to more opportunities for strengthening the Georgian economy" said US Deputy Ambassador Jeff Reeno at the presentation of the project.
The presentation of the project was attended by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, "Produce in Georgia", Georgian Innovation and Development Agency, Professional Institutions, NGOs, Business Representatives and Independent Experts of Education.
