Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport - Irina Abuladze hosted the German Ambassador and German delegation to Georgia. The aim of the meeting was to enhance bilateral cooperation with the purpose of strengthening the vocational labor market demands, improving the quality of education, enhancing the use of innovations and technologies in the learning process. Participants discussed the future cooperation and agreed that the design of the new program will be based on the economic and regional needs that are agreed on by the relevant government agencies at the first stage. The aim of the new initiative is to increase employment opportunities by creating a modern system of vocational training.

The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia - Ekaterine Mikabadze, and officials from the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure, as well as the Ministry of Finance.
