Deputy Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia - Tamar Kitiashvili, together with the Head of development of cooperation at the Embassy of Germany - Daniel Haas, and the Minister of Education, Culture and Sports of Adjara Autonomous Republic, Maia Khajishvili, awarded the dual hospotality diplomas to the graduates for the first time. 

According to Tamar Kitiashvili, dual degree programs provide professionals with the training that their employer soughts for. It is also important that students complete two-year internships coupled with education.

Dual vocational education is one of the forms of work-based learning that takes place simultaneously at a college and at a private company. Such a method creates a unique opportunity for a vocational student to acquire experience and practical skills in a real work environment, along with receiving theoretical knowledge. Dual approaches in the field of hospitality are available in the field of culinary arts, confectionery, hotel services and restaurant services.
