Tamar Kitiashvili, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, held an online meeting with representatives of the private sector in the format of open dialogue - "Vocational Education for Business after Covid-19" organized by the European Business Association. The meeting was dedicated to discussing the needs of businesses in terms of human resources and the steps to be taken by the Ministry.

The meeting focused on the challenges and needs facing the private sector during and after the pandemic. During the meeting, the business representatives discussed in detail the needs identified during the current period. The Deputy Minister reviewed the mechanisms of vocational education, the adjustment of which will be effective in addressing these challenges - to meet short-term business needs for human resource training.

According to the Deputy Minister, to ensure the logical continuation of this open dialogue format, the Ministry will launch an intensive campaign over the next two months to identify challenges with the business sector and industry associations.

The meeting with Tamar Kitiashvili was attended by the heads of the member companies of the European Association, invited representatives from different sectors and participating business / sectoral associations such as: the Academy of Tourism and Gastronomy, the representative of Les Roches in Georgia, Schuchmann Wines Georgia, the Georgian Distributors Business Association Technology Association, Tegeta Academy, Adjara Textile Company, Georgian Logistics Association, Georgian Electronic Commerce Association, Georgian Tourism Association and SafCo Company.
