The Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth Affairs of Georgia will organize the National Teacher Prize program for 2024 on September 13.
The application process for the National Teacher Prize has concluded, and a specially appointed commission has selected ten candidates with outstanding achievements. These selected teachers will be recognized for their significant contributions to the public and education system, receiving a specially designed badge and a cash prize of GEL 10,000.
National Teacher Day, celebrated annually on October 27, commemorates the birthday of Iakob Gogebashvili, a notable Georgian educator, publicist, children's writer, and pioneer of scientific pedagogy in Georgia. On this day, the national prize will be awarded to the most distinguished teachers.
