The Minister of Education and Science – Aleksandre Jejelava visited Eliava Institute of Bacteriophage, Microbiology and Virology, and held a meeting with their research personnel. Before the meeting, the Minister inspected the modern labs, which the scientists renovated with the grants obtained from the international competitions.
Aleksandre Jejelava also listened to the presentation regarding the extensive scientific institution activities, achievements, regional or international links and various problems. Towards the end of the visit, the Minister thanked each employee for their contribution and promised them support for their future endeavors.
