The following is
implemented in support of inclusive education:
- Extra funding is provided to public schools;
- There are resource rooms functioning for Special
Educational Needs Children;
- Around
1300 special education teachers are employed at public schools in support for
inclusive education;
- Georgian gesture language is developing;
- Blind
schoolchildren are provided with textbooks in Braille, education resources and
respective equipment;
- Methodological guidebook has been developed
for teachers;
- Inclusive
education has been introduced at the vocational education level.
- Adapted
transportation is provided to pupils in wheelchairs.
