The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, Ministry of Economy and Sustainable Development and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) organized a conference "Dual Vocational Education in Georgia - Perspectives with Private Companies".
The event was dedicated to the perspectives of dual vocational education in Georgia, which is an integral part of the four-point plan of the Government of Georgia. The discussion focused on the opportunities and challenges of private sector and their involvement in vocational education, since the leading role of private sector as a practical teaching supplier is the basis of dual education.
The conference was opened by the Vice Prime Minister of Georgia, Minister of Education and Science Aleksandre Jejelava.
