The Eastern Partnership Regional Conference organized by the EU Representatives and European Training Foundation is being held, which was opened by the Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Aleksandre Jejelava.
The conference aims at determining whether it is possible to facilitate mobility, including migration, as a result of the two key elements of qualification systems - approval and skills (validation) of qualification.
On the two-day conference of information sharing on reforms of qualification system and conference having cognitive character, each country delegation will present the progress of the country and the tools of recognition and approval of education (validation). In this regard, EU countries will share their practice and experience in the conference. Discuss how it is possible to support the Eastern Partnership and EU goals in achieving economic integration, social unity, mutual understanding and achieving benefits for citizens.
The main topics of the conference are mobility, migration and how to establish and improve the qualification recognition systems and confirm people's skills (validity).
EU ambassador to Georgia Janos Hermann and representative from the European Training Foundation (ETF) - Michel Grahham participated in the conference plenary session.
