The International Education Center has announced Scholarship programs for the applicants seeking to study abroad. The competition was announced on the following programs: International Masters program, International PhD program – implies the creation of qualified personnel as required by the labor market; Qualification Assurance Program – citizens of Georgia employed at the state institutions may be able to enhance their qualification and enroll in the relevant content courses; International Academic Art Programs – implies the funding of Masters and PhD programs, as a priority for the citizens of Georgia – through a competition.
The International Academic Art program is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia.
All four programs, naturally envisage a full reimbursement of tuition and living expenses.
The submission of email applications will begin on April 25, 2018 and will last for a month.
The International Education Center was founded in 2014 and has awarded more than 500 training scholarships during the period of 2014-17 for Georgian citizens willing to study abroad. Some of them have already studied abroad, returned to the country and continued to put their theoretical knowledge into the development of Georgia.
Competition participation procedure - In order to participate in the scholarship program, the applicants fill the electronic application. Afterwards, the International Commission of the Center takes decision on financing the applicant, due to the evaluation conduced on each applicant with a selected list of established criteria. Members of the Commission evaluate each application individually via an electronic system.
The event will be attended by the Executive Director of the Center - Nino Chelidze, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia - Mikheil Chkhenkeli, Minister of Culture and Sports - Mikheil Giorgadze, and the representatives of the Embassies of France, USA and Hungary, as well as the members of the selection committee.
