Mikheil Chkhenkeli - Minister of Education and Science of Georgia held a working meeting with the Director of The Institute for International Cooperation of the German Adult Education Association (DVV International) Caucasus Region, Turkey and South East Europe – Maia Avramoskaya and Lali Santeladze – the head of the Georgian office.

The main purpose of the aforementioned organization is to develop the education system for the adult citizens for the countries of transition, and help establish an international cooperation in this regard.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibilities of facilitating the integration of adults in the fields of vocational edication, cultural-educational and personal development programs.

The Minister noted that the specifics of "DVV International" are in line with the priorities of the Government of Georgia, which means the development of regions of Georgia, through creating a variety of cultural and educational programs for the population living in the region.
