Mikheil Chkhenkeli - the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia hosted the graduates of the Fulbright master’s program and the ones enrolled in the program this year. The event was also attended by US Assistant Secretary of State for Education and Culture - Marie Royce, representatives of the US Embassy and General Director of the Bank of Georgia - Kakha Kiknavelidze.

“In our multilateral relationships, the Fulbright Scholarship Program holds a special place. As you know, this is one of the most prestigious, and highly regarded international program of the United States Government. Through the Fulbright Scholarship, many Georgians have already received higher education in America. In the academic year or 2019-2020, many young people of Georgia, will once again be given the opportunity to receive their master’s degree from the leading American Universities, under the guidance highly skilled, international professors”. – stated Mikheil Chkhenkeli.

Embassy of the United States of America to Georgia, the International Center for Education and Science and the Bank of Georgia oversee the selection of candidates for Fulbright Master Scholarship program.

The main funding of the program is conducted by the US State Department of Education and Culture and is also co-financed by the Government of Georgia and the Bank of Georgia.

Since 2017, the Fulbright Academic Exchange Program is implemented by the International Center for Education of Georgia. The 2019-2020 academic year's Fulbright Master Scholarship Program was announced for the second time this year (2019-2020 Fulbright Graduate Student Program). The scholarship program envisages full funding of MSc's master’s Degree Program in all disciplines, including Business Administration.
