Deadlines for registration and exams have been set for those wishing to tackle the I-XII grade program externship.
Applicants will be able to register for the exam from June 3 to June 8, 2021, and the exams will be held from June 14 to June 25.
A parent or a legal representative of a minor interested in receiving education in the form of an externship shall apply for external registration to the resource centre within the timeframe set for registration, along with the necessary documentation, in accordance with the following rule:
A) If a person who wants to receive general education in the form of an externship studies at a school - the application will be accepted at the resource centre in the area of operation of which the relevant school is located;
B) If the person does not study at the school - the application will be accepted at any resource centre, according to the person's wish.
List of required documents to be submitted to the resource center for registration for the exams:
A) Application of a parent or a legal representative of a minor interested in receiving education in the form of an externship, in which the following information must be indicated:
- Name, surname and contact information (address, telephone number, e-mail address) of the person wishing to receive education in the form of an externship;
- General education classes / semester, as well as a subject / subjects included in a separate class / semester, which a person wants to overcome in the form of an externship;
- Language in which the person wishing to receive education in the form of an externship wants to take an externship exam (Georgian, Russian, Azerbaijani, Armenian);
- Foreign language / languages in which the person wishing to receive education in the form of an externship must take an externship exam, if necessary;
- Elective subject provided by the National Curriculum, which the candidate wants to pass in the form of an externship;
B) a copy of the birth certificate or identity document of the person wishing to receive education in the form of an externship;
C) In case the individual received education abroad, a document must be provided, that certifies the overcoming of the relevant educational program, and must be recognized in accordance with the rules established by law;
D) in case the person has received education abroad, a document certifying the completion of the relevant educational program, which must be recognized in accordance with the rules established by law;
E) In case of registration for the exam in the form of externship of a subject in a separate secondary class / semester, a certificate issued by the school, which confirms that the person must complete the general education program of a subjects in a separate class / semester of general education.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the country:
- The person wishing to register on the externship examination has the right to send e-mails to the educational resource centers electronically together with the attached documents, or to hand over the material to the resource center representative in accordance with the rules established by the resource center. The Resource Center will confirm the applicant's receipt of the application and documentation by e-mail within 2 days. If a defect is found, the applicant shall be notified immediately. The Resource Center shall either accept or refuse the registration within 5 days after the expiration of the registration period.
