According to the decision of UNESCO, Tbilisi has been declared the World Book Capital for one year. In this regard, the intellectual club "What? Where? When? held an event on the topic: “Book, us and the environment”.
XI-XII grade students of ten public schools of Samgori district took part in the event. The 117th public school won the intellectual competition. The winners were awarded with symbolic gifts and certificates of Honor by the jury, whose member was the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Ekaterine Dgebuadze.
The event was initiated by Sozar Subari, a member of the majority of the Parliament of Georgia, Samgori Majoritarian MP and supported by the Ilia Chavchavadze National Library of the Parliament of Georgia.
