Owing to the initiative of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia, the National Center for Teacher Professional Development and the British Council, English language teachers will be given the opportunity to participate in the project "Online Teacher Society - Georgia".

English language teachers at Georgian public schools can participate in the project. For this, teachers must review the documentation on the British Council website and complete the online application form in a timely manner. Applications are available until January 31, 2022.

Recall that Teacher House, in partnership with the British Council, has been offering professional development opportunities to project participants through the Teacher Online Community Platform since October 2021. In particular, the platform allows English language teachers to engage in an online forum where they participate in professional discussions and research on pedagogical practices. In addition, teachers share new ideas, approaches, and their own experiences in improving the teaching-learning process.

It should be noted that at the first stage, the project "Future English Online Teacher Community" involved about 1,500 teachers throughout Georgia.
