In the framework of Vocational Education Reform, the final meetings of the Georgian delegation were held in Berlin, in the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and in the Embassy of Georgia. Tamar Sanikidze met with the Deputy Federal Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development, the Secretary of State Fererik Kidshel and Project Manager of Vocational Education Hannelore Kress. The first Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Ketevan Natriashvili and Georgia's Ambassador to Germany Lado Chanturia also attended the meeting.
At the conclusive meeting, the sides reviewed once more support and development target program of vocational education. The visit proved very fruitful and productive to Georgian side, since, in the framework of future cooperation, the German side expressed full readiness for supporting implementation of dual vocational education piloting elements and from viewpoint of vocational teachers' qualification increase and training.
Visit of German colleagues and experts to Georgia was planned, who will study on-site the course of vocational education reform and work will start on the project and action plan for Georgia. State structures, as well as donor organizations will be involved in the implementation of the project.
