Today in Courtyard Marriott was held the annual summing up of project of the National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement. The meeting was opened by the Deputy of Minister Science and Education of Georgia, Ms. Ketevan Natriashvili. The guests were greeted by the deputy of Minister of Agriculture. Ms. Tamar Maxarashvili, deputy director of National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement , summed up the results of project. Ms.Irina Tserodze, director of professional education development department, talked about the 2016 action plan of professional education reform.
Program manager Mr.Kakhaber Eradze presented to the special guests the 2015 results of professional qualification development program. He said that in 2015 was the first attempt to implement modular professional programs. These programs offer to get deep and comprehensive knowledge, to develop main skills, and also future professional development in the next steps in the adjacent sphere.
In 2015 put into practise implementation of 52 modular program and 748 compulsory professional moduls. In the autumn of 2015 32 professional educational institution was registered in 132 programs. Standard tests were passed by the 2873 applicants, 1154 student was enrolled in state institutions, and 109 was enrolled in private sector.
In the presentation it was mentioned that during the 2015 year the regular meetings were held in order to identify the demands that were existing on the professions. Altogether there was formed 99 project of professional standards for the most demanded professions. Program worked in close collaboration with 120 experts from the Georgian leading companies and professional associations. Field councils were created in eleven directions.

During the 2015 the program of’ gave a contribution to the development of professional teaching programs within’ National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement. One of the problematic issue was the manuals. Within the program there was collaborated materials for the 54 modular programs. All finished manuals and textbooks are published on the website www.vet.ge
Invited guests, representatives of donor organisations and educational institutions, experts and facilitators estimated the process in which the program is passed.
The presentation was attended by the representatives of Ministry of Science and Education of Georgia and professional educational institutions, specialist from different spheres and international donor representatives.
Diplomas were passed to the educational institutions that were involved in the process of implementation of modular professional educational programs.
National Centre for Educational Quality Enhancement exist from 2013 and aims to fulfil the reforms of vocational educational programs. The reform aims the promotion of economic development and career growth in accordance with the labour demand in the way of forming out professional educational programs.
