The working meeting was held with the participation of Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Lia Gigauri within the framework of implementation of National Model Strategy of "Second Chance Education".

At the meeting, the organizational principles for implementation of "Second Alternative Program of Education" (so-called "cutting-edge programs") were discussed, which consider the possibility of involvement of young people outside the school not having Certificate of 9^th grade in the formal education.

The educational model "Second Chance Education" provides alternative education programs for children and young people beyond school. The aim of the programs is to educate those who have left school before the end of compulsory general education or who had never went to school, who don’t have Certificate proving the completion of the 9^th grade and therefore have no right to enter the vocational school today.
