Open doors day was provided for those who are interested in receiving vocation education in the Public College “Mermisi”. At the event, the stakeholders were being able to receive comprehensive information regarding programs, registration, vocational tests, funded programs and other interesting details.
The invited guests viewed the college infrastructure and evaluated the works created by students within the different programs. Furthermore, they attended the master classes performed by the successful graduates and received detailed information on further employment.
On the sideline of the event, the winners of the second national award of WroldSkills Georgia 2014 did different hairstyles. The graduates of “Vitreous Enamel” and “Leather Accessories” created a wide range of works. Moreover, Dmitri Pilopov, teacher of Estonia’s partner School for “confectioner” profession “Ida-Virumaa Training Centre” and the graduates demonstrated a decoration of a wide range of cakes.
The event was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Ketevan Natriashvili.
