The Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia held a meeting with representatives of institutions implementing vocational education programs, directors and quality managers with the support of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ). The aim of the meeting was to get acquainted with the experience of the experience and monitoring results in the teaching process by the work-based dual approach.
As you know, one of the important issues for the Ministry of Education and Science is to increase the scope of teaching based on work-based dual approach. Consequently, with the help of the partners involved in UNDP and GIZ, the cycle of meetings was planned with institutions implementing vocational education programs.
Within the workshop, European systems have been reviewed based on work-based teaching. The strengths and weaknesses of the process piloting in Georgia were shared. Principals learned about the specifics of reorganization the experiences as a result of examination of practical cases. A gradual increase in the scale of work-based dual programs was planned in the areas where the private sector is more powerful and there is more willingness to engage in the process.
