In regard with the 180th anniversary of Ilia Chavchavadze’s birth various activities were planned. Within these activities Ilia’s home museum in Kvareli hosted the awarding ceremony of successful schoolchildren. Deputy Minister of Education and Science Lia Gigauri, Kakheti governor Irakli Kadagishvili and director of education and scientific infrastructure development agency Zviad Rostomashvili awarded 282 successful pupils of the 10th form with personal computers.
This year 2557 successful schoolchildren will receive computers in Georgia.
