With
the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and various
sports organizations, public school teachers, pupils and their parents continue
their excursions and hiking tours across Georgia.
The
project promotes a healthy lifestyle and enables the individuals involved to
receive cognitive information about ecology, nature and cultural heritage sites
of Georgia. The hiking tours involve various sports and entertainment
activities.
About
150 students of pilot schools participated in the first phase of the project.
In the future, more regional public schools will be involved together with
Tbilisi schools.
