The Minister of Education and Science of Georgia - Mikheil Chkhenkeli met with the Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovations - Frédérique Vidal. The sides discussed the future prospects of implementing joint academic and scientific research projects between the two countries.
Particular attention was paid to the new project of French-Georgian University, on which a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the governments of Georgia and France. Within the project framework, Georgian students and scientists will work closely with their French colleagues. Besides, Georgian students will be able to get a double degree according to different specialties that will bring cooperation with France to a higher level.
Frédérique Vidal positively assessed the enhancement of cooperation between the two countries and noted that the joint project of the French-Georgian University will facilitate the mobility of students and researchers, which is very important for both Georgia and France.
