The Georgian National Team teams have started the training for the International Olympiads. Georgia presents the respective teams in five Olympiad disciplines: Mathematics IMO, Physics IPHO, Information Technology IOI, Biology IBO and Chemistry ICHO.

The Georgian team of biology is currently undergoing a two-week training course; whose members are as follows: Joni Gvazava (Public school №1 of Abasha), Bachuki Dalakishvili (Tamarioni) Saba Birkadze (Komarov Tbilisi school of Physics and Mathematics) and Ana Toidze (Sixth Copyright School). The biology team will travel to the International Olympiad on July 15, held in Tehran, Iran.

The national teams of Physics, Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry have been selected due to the results of the third round of the 2018 National Olympiad. However, the Information Technology national team has been selected entirely by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
