The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia - Mikheil Batiashvili opened the newly renovated Tbilisi Public School N100 equipped with observed modern cabinets, laboratories, designated rooms for sciences and a conference hall. The building in full compliance with modern standards and regulations.
The Minister wished the students and faculty members success and noted that construction of new schools, rehabilitation and improvement of school infrastructure is one of the main priorities of the educational system. Consequently, work in this direction will continue in permanent regime.
According to Mikheil Batiashvili, up to 700 students today have a school of the newest standard, focused on students of all backgrounds.
Nearly two centuries ago the old building of the Tbilisi Public School No. 100 was a completely atypical structure because it did not meet any modern standards. To avoid the danger, school leadership was forced to reduce the number of students.
After the dismantling of the school implemented in 2014, the renovation process started in 2016 and today, up to 700 students can enjoy a fully renovated school. The overall budget amounted to 5 506 000 GEL.
The N100 school is compatible with the latest standards: suspended-acoustic ceiling; Vinyl flooring A BMS system is installed that provides safe and effective management of the building; Fire safety detector, sensor lighting, , air quality control equipment, gas leak sensor, school door detector and many more.
